This website

The site has no analytics, no advertising trackers and no cookies. Like every website, our host (Vercel) receives your IP address and browser details when it serves a page, and may keep them briefly in server logs for security and reliability. The page loads fonts from Google Fonts, so Google also receives your IP address when the page loads.

When you buy

Checkout is run by Polar, the merchant of record. Polar collects your name, email, country, billing details and payment information to take the payment, prevent fraud, meet tax rules and deliver your files. We can see your name, email, country and what you bought, so we can support you and handle refunds. We never see your full card details. Polar's own privacy policy applies to the data it collects.

When you email us

If you write to hello@kitsbyai.com, we keep the conversation so we can reply and help with your order.

The live demo

• The demo has no accounts. Your browser gets a random workspace ID so that your documents are kept apart from other visitors' documents.
• Text from PDFs you upload is stored in our database (Supabase) and sent to Google's Gemini API to create search vectors and answers. On Gemini's free tier, Google may use this text to improve its products.
• You can delete your documents at any time with the delete button in the demo. Please don't upload confidential or personal documents to the demo.

What we don't do

We don't sell your data, and we don't add you to a mailing list without asking.

How long we keep it

Order records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require. Emails are kept while they are useful for supporting your purchase. Demo documents stay until you delete them, and we may clear old demo data at any time.

Your rights

You can ask us for a copy of the data we hold about you, or ask us to correct or delete it, by emailing hello@kitsbyai.com. Some order data has to be kept for legal reasons; we will tell you if that applies.

If this policy changes, we will update this page and its date.
